Green Energy Resources
According to the Environmental Protection Agency green power is determined by solar, wind, and low-impact hydropower. Hoteliers can work with their local power providers to find resources to help reduce costs. Check out the EPA’s online locator to start a program. Another option for hoteliers for greening is purchasing renewable energy credits (RECs) or consider installing green energy sources such as solar panels.
